We somehow always end up with either a surplus of bananas, or not enough for the week. I don’t know how this always occurs. This week we ended up with six that were getting super ripe and I knew I had to do something with them. Then I saw Brown Eyed Baker‘s banana bread with chocolate chips recipe and DUH. I ended up making two batches. One with the chocolate chips, and another with PEANUT BUTTER chips to take to a friends house for Friday Night Cards. I never met a banana bread I didn’t like, but this one is exceptionally good and extra moist. Probably because of the bananas AND peanut butter it calls for. Yum!!
I had a big ol (falling apart) slice for breakfast this morning. It was just as tasty as when it came out of the oven a couple of nights ago.
